And now a quick roundup of a surprisingly busy few days.
First, the Historical Novel Society endorsed Design for Dying!
Thanks to the wonderful Kimberly Kurth Gray, Design got some love at the always worthwhile Wicked Cozy Authors blog. Featuring a true show business story complete with dramatic ending!
You have through August 29th to enter Forge’s Dog Days of Summer Sweepstakes, where you can win not only a copy of Design but books by our friends Rachel Howzell Hall, Hank Phillippi Ryan, Anne A. Wilson and more!
Finally, and most important of all ... join us as we take to the air!
A few months ago, our pal Eddie Muller appeared on True North Story, a terrific podcast about finding purpose and passion in life. At Noir City, Eddie introduced us to the series’ hosts, Tama Fulton and John Hudson Messerall. Tama and John are childhood friends and lively conversationalists, interested in what makes people tick. They invited us to be guests on their show, and we were more than happy to accept. We talk about our partnership in marriage and in work, the way classic movies brought us together, our appearances on game shows, film noir, cocktails, and the New York Mets. With special appearances by Lee Marvin’s shoes, a miniature version of Jim Rockford’s car, and Conrad Veidt as Cupid! Why not give a listen?
