BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND!

October 23, 2017

We have returned from a fantastic Bouchercon in Toronto, the trip free of awards yet packed with memories. (Photos at Facebook if you’re interested!) And we can at last unveil some big news—

We’re returning to Turner Classic Movies!

Yes, somehow, some way, Renee Patrick was invited back to Noir Alley, the program hosted by our good friend Eddie Muller. On Sunday, October 29, Eddie will be presenting 1946’s The Strange Love of Martha Ivers, in which Edith Head dresses both Barbara Stanwyck and Lizabeth Scott. We’ll be on before and after the film talking with Eddie about Edith’s career and telling tales from the production of this barnburner of a movie, which also marks the screen debut of Hollywood legend Kirk Douglas.

Once again, that’s Sunday, October 29 at 10 a.m. EST, 7 a.m. PST. Despite the early hour on the West Coast, we plan on being awake and live-tweeting the movie, so tune in and follow along on Twitter. Or set the DVR and watch it at your leisure. But whatever you do, don’t miss it!
