SPOTLIGHT SEPTEMBER ON TCM

September 02, 2025

We noticed with tremendous excitement that every Wednesday in September, TCM will be celebrating Edith Head. The network will be showing twenty films from every phase of her decades-spanning career and saluting her contributions to costume design. We’re excited about every movie in the line-up, but the real treat is a rare showing on September 17 of a 1953 episode of the TV show Mary McAdoo at Home, with Edith appearing alongside host (and former Paramount wardrobe girl) Mary McAdoo to offer fashion advice to viewers. Tune in or set those DVRs to see some wonderful examples of Edith’s handiwork!
